I love fruit, especially picked right off the tree or purchased from one of our many vendors at the local
farmers market. There are so many varieties, textures and colors. It's no wonder that so many artists
include fruit in their subject matter. This painting is my first attempt at capturing the essence of a particular
type of fruit. I couldn't do a second painting ... I ate my subject ... delicious!
